Week 9, Term 2
Welcome
Dear St James Community,
We are approaching the end of another busy and successful Term and I would like to acknowledge the spirit of kindness, giving, sharing, support, learning and joy that has been present in our school. At the end of Term 2, we farewell Mrs Faga, who currently teaches Year 5. Alisha is taking a period of maternity leave to welcome her 3rd child into her family. We thank Alisha for her work and dedication to our school and students, and we look forward to hearing the exciting news of the new arrival sometime in July!
The final day of Term 2 is Friday, July 1st and we recommence school on Monday, July 18th.

Bequest
St James Primary has been generously bequeathed $10,000 from the estate of Phyllis Ward. Phyllis was an active member of the St Joseph's Parish and she spent a great deal of time here at St James supporting students and helping the school grow in its early days. We plan to expend some of the funds on our outdoor prayer space in memory of Phyllis's love of children and her great faith in God and the Catholic Church. We remember Phyllis fondly and thank her for this beautiful gift of love.
